This is not a paid post.

Hey everyone, hope you all are fine and refreshed after the Eid break, back to the boring daily routine.

Eid was hectic to say the least and due to all the regular application of heavy make up my skin was looking tired and asking for some attention. I have sensitive skin and it reacts quickly if I don’t follow the normal regime. Fortunately, my family understands that and among other Eid gifts, I also got L’Oréal Pure Clay Detox Mask which I decided to try.

It comes in ready to use packaging so all you need is to cleanse your skin and apply directly to your face. As I mentioned earlier, I have sensitive skin so I could feel a little tingling. So I would suggest a patch first to ensure it suits your skin. I left it for 15 minutes to dry and then washed it with normal water.

Review :

• It has a very good smell.
• It made my skin very clear and soft.
• It sucked out all extra oil and blackheads. It made my skin a bit dry so I applied moisturizer afterwards.

Verdict : I loved it and will be using it in the future!

Beauty Within

Written by Sumayya Feroz

According to our society’s standards a person is only beautiful if he or she has a fair skin tone. The people with dark skin tone mostly get bullied from their childhood by their friends, teachers, relatives and specially the old age aunties which are found in every family who have right to criticize every one’s appearance, these type of persons can find “a mole” on some one’s face but not beauty in the heart. God knows who gave them this right to judge a person like some show piece. Due to this fairness craze girls use different whitening creams which contain huge amount of mercury, steroids and other harmful chemicals, in the beginning these creams give you a fair colour and then after some time the skin condition get worse.

People out there listen to me very carefully; you are beautiful in your own way.

A pearl is pearl either it is black or white nothing can bring down its value. Your creator made you in the best form. And the people who humiliate you have an inferiority complex so they get satisfaction by laid down others. When someone can’t do something good by themselves then they criticize others who are better than them in any way.

If someone asks me ever where we can find beauty or what is beauty? I can easily say beauty is everywhere, beauty is in the world, beauty is in the white and beauty is in the black.

Love you All

Protein Hair Treatment at Home

Written by Sumayya Feroz

Edited by Pragya Shrivastava

I have always put emphasis on finding alternatives for beauty treatments, which are both time and money consuming. So here is a protein treatment for hair which you can try at home.

INGREDIENTS:

EGG 1
HONEY 1 table spoon
ALMOND OIL 2 tablespoon
VITAMIN E CAPSULES 2
HOW TO USE: Whisk all the ingredients properly. Apply with fingers or brush on your hair from root to tip. After applying the mixture wrap your hair with a hot towel and a shower cap and leave it for 1-2 hours, now you can enjoy your popcorns while watching TV or finish your chores. After 2 hours wash your hair with shampoo of your choice. At the end of the shower, use a mixture of one table spoon of ACV (apple cider vinegar) in a big cup of tap water to rinse your hair.
RESULTS: As Mr. Egg is rich in proteins, amino acids etc., it will give your hair a nice smooth texture, but please be patient because home remedies take time.

You can repeat this home remedy in every 15 days but if your hair is damaged because of excess exposure to heat (blow dryers, straighteners, curlers) repeat this once in a week.

Finally , I want to share my thoughts on people getting very materialistic these days, running after the high end products whether they can afford it or not. Please for the sake of your peace don’t do this. If you cannot go to salon for facials or any other treatments don’t be depressed instead find alternative products and home treatments. And be thankful to your creator for you can even afford home treatments, you have an egg to apply on your face or hair where millions of people still don’t have anything to eat, so next time don’t be depressed when you see someone around using high end products.

Love you all, Sumayya
